Every Fitness 19 member receives a complementary fitness assessment from one of our fitness managers to help you determine your fitness goals. About Me: I have been passionate about exercise and fitness for 23 years. I have competed in powerlifting and bodybuilding shows including the Minnesota State bodybuilding show in 2011. I was the second ever 700+ pound bench press (720 lb) in Minnesota. I can individualize a program for anyone’s specific goals whether it be fat loss, muscle gain, sports performance or for general health. My life’s goal is to succeed in my athletic endeavors and help others achieve their specific goals.

About Me: My name is Jacob Johnson. I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. I have been on a personal journey of improved health for the past 12 years and began working with a personal trainer at 390 pounds. Through belief, dedication, and positive support I was blessed to lose 150 unwanted pounds and keep it off more less for the past decade. In 2009 I made another significant life changing decision to become a personal trainer and learn to effectively share what I have learned over the years regarding losing weight, keeping it off, building muscle, and living a physically active lifestyle. Working as a personal trainer and seeing the impact this work has on the lives of others from a new perspective has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life to date. About Me: I received my B.A. in Health Fitness from Gustavus Adolphus College and also double minored in coaching and dance. I have been an athlete my entire life and ran my first half marathon in June 2011. I am now training for the Tough Mudder Race in May 2012. One day, I would love to compete in an ironman. I love helping others set goals and reach them. Whether that goal be to lose 5 pounds or 100 pounds, whether its increasing one’s strength or simply feeling better about the way you look and feel, no goal is unreachable.
